How to Find Us
Summer Fun Camp is held at Goldwyn Special School outside Great Chart, near Ashford. Goldwyn is set in the impressive River Stour Valley and has excellent new facilities.
To find us using a Satellite Navigation System our postcode is TN23 3BT. Please note that Goldwyn may appear as Swinford Manor School, the name of the previous school on the same site.

from Maidstone, Downswood, Loose and Lenham
Join the A20 and head towards Ashford. Look out for the signs to Hothfield after passing Charing. Take the first turning to the right that is sign posted off the A20 to Hothfield. Follow this road turning right at the end then first left [almost straight ahead]. Turn left at the end, down through the wood and turn right at the T junction. This is Godinton Lane. The first next turning on the left is for Godinton House, take the second left turn. The school is clearly signposted.
from Tenterden, St. Michaels and Rolvenden
Follow the A28 to Ashford. Take the first sign posted to Great Chart. Once you have turned off the A28, turn left immediatley (away from Great Chart, towards Hothfield and Worten), follow this road until the you get to the T junction, with the wood on your left. Turn right, then first left over the bridge and railway line. Goldwyn will be on the right hand side of the road after Worten.You will see the playing field first after the stream. The school comes up next on the right.
from Egerton
Follow the signs out of Egerton and follow the signs to Pluckley (NOT Pluckley Thorne or Pluckley Station). Once in Pluckley turn left towards Charing, then immediately right and follow the signs to Little Chart, passed the Swan Pub, then head towards Hothfield. Once in Hothfield take the first right, before the village green, then the first left, just after the little shop. You will pass through the wood and come to a T junction, which is Godinton lane. Turn right. Ignore the first left, which is to Godinton House and the school is clearly marked at the second left turn.
from Headcorn
Follow the A274 past the shops and then past the station. Before the rail bridge the road forks and take the road off to Smarden (the Smarden Road). Follow this road to the Smarden Bell. At the Smarden Bell turn left. Follow the signs to Pluckley (NOT Pluckley Thorne or Pluckley Station). Once in Pluckley follow the signs to Little Chart then towards Hothfield. Once in Hothfield take the first right, then the first left, then turn right a little way down this road towards Worten. [See the directions above "from Egerton" for more detail from Pluckley].
from Goudhurst
Follow the A262 towards Sissinghurst. At the Three Chimneys turn left off the A262 and head towards Smarden. This is before you reach Biddenden. After crossing straight over the A274 follow the road past the Smarden Bell and follow the signs to Pluckley (NOT Pluckley Thorne or Pluckley Station). Once in Pluckley follow the signs to Little Chart then towards Hothfield. Once in Hothfield take the first right, then the first left, then turn right a little way down this road towards Worten. from Staplehurst
Follow the signs to Headcorn from Staplehurst then follow the directions for Headcorn.
